Description of Viagra
Viagra can only be obtained with a prescription from a registered medical doctor. This drug contains sildenafil citrate which has been successful in treating ED (erectile dysfunction) in men. ED is diagnosed when the penis cannot become hard during sexual stimulation. Erectile dysfunction is diagnosed when a man can get an erection, but it is not firm enough for sexual intercourse.
Viagra will not increase a man’s desire for sex, neither will it offer any protection against STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) or provide protection against pregnancy.
Do not use Viagra if you:
- • Regularly use recreational drugs;
- • Take 'nitrates';
- • Have been instructed by a doctor not to have sexual intercourse.
What are the dangers of using Viagra?
If you use nitrates, alpha blockers or recreational drugs, these may cause your blood pressure to drop dramatically. This can be extremely dangerous because you could be at risk of having a stroke or a heart attack.
Viagra may cause priapism. This refers to an erection that is prolonged and painful. Viagra may also cause problems with your vision. It may make it difficult for you to tell the difference between the colors, green and blue.
Common side effects of Viagra include a runny or stuffy nose, diarrhea, headache, urinary tract infection, flushing, or stomach irritations.
Viagra may cause additional side effects not detailed in this article. Inform your doctor right away if you experience any persistent uncomfortable symptoms. If you think that you have suffered an allergic reaction, call a doctor right away. Symptoms of allergic reaction are difficulty breathing, itchiness or rash, and swelling of your face, lips or tongue.
